When I was 19, and Depeche Mode as appeared on the music scene, I couldn’t believe my luck. They were the coolest thing since Kraftwerk. I wrote to the ‘information service’ - they didn’t like the name ‘fan club’. I started to correspond with a really nice lady called Deb. It turned out that Deb was Vince Clarke’s girlfriend at the time, which I only discovered recently.
I asked Deb if there was any way she could get something signed for me.
So, to cut a long story short, here’s ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’, signed by the original lineup of the band. The cover is showing a little sign of age but it doesn’t detract from the fact that it is signed by four of the coolest kids ever. A fantastic talking point.
