Description

From my personal collection, this box set, titled 'Just Say 50: Sire Records 50th Anniversary', is a limited, numbered edition released in 2017 for Record Store Day. It features various artists and includes 33 RPM vinyl records in a pristine cardboard box. The set is still sealed and in mint condition (M) with both the record grading and sleeve grading being mint as well. Individually numbered on the back cover with a gold foil stamp above the barcode, this box set is #874 0f 2500 copies pressed. Essay and track-by-track are amended and expanded versions of notes that originally appeared in the 2006 4-disc box set Just Say Sire, which commemorated Sire's 40th anniversary.


The set includes songs from the 1980s and covers various styles such as post-rock, classic rock, post-punk, dance and clubsound, pop rock, dance pop, and features genres like pop, dance and electronica, alternative, and soul. It is a comprehensive compilation of music from Sire Records and is a great addition to any vinyl record collection.
