Mike Rogers, Ken Wilkins, Larry Jones and Gary Rogers 4 South Stokes High School boys, from a little town known as Walnut Cover became THE STARLITERS. Walnut Cover by the way is a little town tucked away between Mount Airy (Mayberry) and Winston Salem, NC.  The only thing I don't understand about this LP is why we didn't hear a lot more about these guys! Garage primitive with a little Soul, Funk, Beach and psych thrown in. Proficient with their instruments (lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, drums) considering their age and experience the vocals from Mike Rogers and Gary Rogers are unexpected if not primitively phenominal! Great Carolina sound. A PERSONALIZED VISIT TO THE 60'S! Very RARE..
A word about Justice label records.  Formed in the mid 60's in Winston Salem, NC by Calvin Newton, NC/SC/VA area bands recorded on this now highly collectable label.  The Night Riders, The Tempos, The Knights 5+1, The Stowaways, The Marlboros & The Joker Six, Skip & The Creations, The Aces, The Invaders, The Starliters, The Barracudas, The Englishmen and The Phantom Raiders are all Justice bands. Records were generally funded by the bands but often as not by the groups' parents.  Printings were general 250 to 1,000. Justice Label only produced for around 15 to 17 months, during which they only put out about 25 or so lp's. Do the math, these lp's are ultra rare! Original Justice recordings are sought after internationally and greatly prized!
By the time the teens twisted and shouted while the records played, transported them from party to party not much is left of these priceless originals in any condition which only added to their rarity!
Speaking of condition...the white labels are clean with very little if any spindlewear.  The vinyl is glossy but does have surface scuffs...no repeats, didn't detect any skips and only very minor pop or crackle.  The cover bears the most wear.  Both the top and bottom were split and repaired with scotch tape many many years ago.  The back spine is solid with a little rubbing.  No Writing on cover but some ringwear on front.  Graphics have some rubbing.  All in all a fantastic rare time capsule!
(I have included some clips that were recorded with my Iphone from a Crossley turntable.  That with the youtube sputters doesn't give a real good representation of how good this lp sounds but does give you an idea of the music.  What I wouldn't give to hear this on a quality Turntable with some really cool, rad Speakers!)

    We will now consider Overseas shipping with the following understandings:
1. We can not control what happens after an item it enters the system, please be sure you are willing to accept the risk of it getting lost. We will not be responsible for items lost in transit, we will help you track them from our end as best we can but cannot accept the loss.
2.Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges and are the buyers responsibility. Please check with your local customs office to determine what additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying and consider them when you make your bid, again if incurred they will be your responsibility not the sellers.
