JUTTA HIPP
TITLE: At The Hickory House Volume 1 LABEL: Blue Note NUMBER: BLP 1515, Lexington on labels and jacket. MONO/STEREO: Mono
LABEL DESCRIPTION: Blue and white label with Lexington script address, RVG and "EAR" etched in the dead wax and deep groove. No writing. No R. Oddly has two side 1 labels as shown but sides 1 and 2 are both in the wax and sound beautiful.
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (RECORD): VG+ Gorgeous flat edge first pressing. Some light superficial marks so visually VG+. Plays EX with very few audible light pops or noises at all. Maybe about 5 total on the entire album. Very quiet between cuts. Play tested with a Shure cartridge on a McIntosh amp and pre from early 70's.
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (COVER): VG Great "framed" cover. The top seams are split about 1 inch on both sides. Bottom seam is split most of the way with a bit of tape repair in two spots as shown. Spine is nice with a bit of splitting on top and bottom. Name Anna written on rear and a light staining as shown. Some light edgewear as shown. No major ringwear to speak of.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: A great copy of this original Blue Note and a beautiful listen from the disc. Insurance and safe handling/packaging are all included with purchase.

I would say the audio grade of disc would be VG++ close to EX. There are very light pops here and there throughout the record but nothing very distracting at all. A great listen.
