I am excited to be able to offer this RARE 1950's Blues LP!!!
K. C. Douglas - Road Recordings - A Dead-Beat Guitar And The Mississippi Blues. Cook (M) 5002 (1956). Yellow Label. Cover is in VG+ to VG condition, with light wear and taped seams (lots of pics, so please look). Vinyl is in VG+ condition. To me, the vinyl is actually in EX condition with a few light marks, but I am grading this album VERY conservatively to avoid any problems. When I played the album it played mostly quiet and was very enjoyable. Bright and mostly clear, but not sonically perfect. This is a very rare LP and my opening bid is less than the CV for a VG copy My 2007 edition of Jerry Osborne's Guide values the album 750-1000. This album's vinyl is in much better condition than VG. See pictures for titles. Pictures are of the actual album the winner of this auction will receive. If there are no bids, I am very happy just to keep it for myself.
This record and others that I am listing in my EBay Store are from my personal collection. I have no room to store them any more, and someone should be enjoying the great music on them.
