l KAJI Meiko: “Best & Best” (Polydor – MR-3903) (Record: Excellent, has only some minor scuffmark hairlines that do not affect the playing/ Jacket: Excellent, only a little hardly visible spot of minor water damage on upper corner of back of the cover/ Obi: Mint). Again a great disc by all time favorite Kaji Meiko. Recently much in demand and I noticed that some dealer has stolen my writings on Kaji Meiko in order to shamelessly promote his own auctions. Anyway, this was Meiko’s last recorded disc, released in 1980 and is comprised of some older tunes and some new material. Still the overall effect strays into similar regions has her early work, being softly psychedelic induced kayokyoku, mondo music inspired songs. Great erotic and stunning voice. Great copy in excellent condition. The water damage on the back side is minor and not directly eye popping but thought I should mention it nevertheless. Disc has some minor paper scuff marks that hardly affect the playing. Hardly turns up with obi. Comes with insert. No reserve.
