Description
This is a very good original U.S. pressing copy of the second LP by SoCal folk-blues-country-rock/world music group the Kaleidoscope, released in 1968. The group featured multi-instrumentalists David Lindley, who went on to become a Jackson Browne sideman and to release several solo LPs, Chris Darrow, who also went on to have careers as a sideman and a solo artist, and Solomon "Saul" Feldthouse, an Idaho native of Turkish descent who brought a Middle Eastern flavor to the group's music. Their sophomore outing featured two long live-in-studio jams along with an eclectic collection of originals and covers of the traditional folk song "Greenwood Sidee," Doug Kershaw's "Louisiana Man," and a revved-up version of bluesman Willie Cobbs' "You Don't Love Me." The jacket has a ½” split in the top seam, a former owner's name written in pen on and discoloration around the edges of the back cover slick (see photos), and light ring, corner, spine, and seam wear (VG+). The disc has some light dinging, scraping, and scuffing, and plays with light surface noise and some crackling and light popping (VG+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
