Kaleidoscope ?– Faintly Blowing, rare UK first pressing

Very rare and collectable Kaleidoscope album released in 1969 on the Fontana record label (STL 5491 LP) and in very good condition.

It's well known that the vast majority of the low numbers of copies ever pressed had a large watermark which caused a rotational hiss on the first track of each side. This copy has NO watermark on side 2 and on side 1, it only extends 3 to 4mm into track 1 and is only about 10cm long, less than 10% of overall record edge covered.

The cover is in very good condition with a dealer sticker to top right, corners slightly scuffed, a few slight creases and record ring mark. On the back cover there is a couple of small marks* where top layer of cover has gone, maybe from glue in production. But overall quite acceptable.

*3mm and 2mm diameter, please see photographs.

The record sleeve is in good condition with discolouration and some creasing but not torn.

The disc is also very good with no visual surface marks. There are only one or two spindle marks on each label- but you have to look for them.

I've owned this record for 40 yrs+ and never really played it, so. This copy won't disappoint.

Side 1 sounds fine, with very few crackles or pops.

Side 2 also sounds fine with slightly more crackles or pops.
