Description

Title : Kaleidoscope - Tangerine Dream : Original Fontana released 24 November1967 Mono, Fontana TL5448 1st Pressing good old heavy vinyl - One of the rarest Psych LPs of the 60s and still one of the strongest - go on Dive Into Tomorrow!!
One of the rarest and most hard to find (in anywhere near decent condition) of any of the UK Psych bands of the 60s.

I'm a vinyl junkie so am aware how annoying inaccurate descriptions of records can be so I'm going to go into as much detail as possible. A bit too much for some folk probably !!
This record is in amazing condition for such a rare find though, you won't be dissappointed.

Record - To say I was was shocked when I first played this would be an understatment - Sound quality is amazingly good!! - NO pops, NO skips. There is no bass distortion and treble is still crisp and sharp and the heavy vinyl retains it's superb mono depth. On my Dual 506 there was very slight static in the quietest of sections if I cranked it up. Even between tracks though it's virtual silence with very little occasional static. AMAZING sound!! Visually there are some marks that are visible under light but they seem to have no influence on the sound. I can honestly say though that this record is sonically Excellent+

Cover - Original 1st press mono flipback unlaminated sleeve with original white lined inner. Almost impossible to find in anywhere approaching acceptable condition. The colours are still vivid and bright with no marks or rips. There is a little wear to the spine but text is still visible. The spine has not worn through like so many albums of this age. There is very slight crease and a little wear at the opening side of the cover (I'm being very picky though - you'd have to study it to notice!) Corners are a little worn as you'd expect, but not badly. The are no signs of ink, sticker or dirt damage. Excellent

Backcover - There is a little discolouration as the back of the album is white. Only the sort of levels you would imagine with a 40 year old LP though, but certainly nothing that detracts considering the life a 60s Psych record must have lived!! Most importantly no-one has written on it or stamped the name of a record shop (a problem I'm sure you've all come across on 60s records!!!) VG

I'm sure anyone bidding on this is aware of the content but here goes.
Side 1 1. KALEIDOSCOPE 2.PLEASE EXCUSE MY FACE 3. DIVE INTO YESTERDAY 4. MR SMALL, THE WATCH REPAIR MAN 5. FLIGHT FROM ASHIYA 6. THE MURDER OF LEWIS TOLLANI
Side 2 1. (FURTHER REFLECTIONS) IN THE ROOM OF PERCUSSION 2. DEAR NELLIE GOODRICH 3. HOLIDAYMAKER 4. A LESSON, PERHAPS 5. THE SKY CHILDREN

As I've said earlier I've gone in to extreme detail due to the rare nature of this LP. If anything I think I've been over critical. Feel free to contact me if you want more pics.

Any collector would be delighted to have this in their collection!! If the winner isn't totally happy with the my description of this record I'm more than happy to be contacted. This really is a superb example of this super rare piece of Psych history.
