Description
THE TENNESSEE TOOTERS lay down that great composition of Jelly Roll Morton's, "KANSAS CITY STOMPS." They do an equally torrid job on "JIMTOWN BLUES." In 1925, they were the first band to record "K.C. Stomp," three years ahead of Jelly!
The Tooters for this session: HARRY GLUCK (trumpet), VINCENT GRANDE (trombone), BENNIE KRUEGER (alto sax), RUBE BLOOM (piano), JOHN CALI (banjo), HARRY LOTTMAN (drums); ELMER SCHOEBEL (arranger).
This original 1925 red-wax Vocalion 15022 is in fine EE- condition.

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care.
