rare German very first press and limited, numbered edition (low number #XVI 046) vinyl 8LP box set released 1962 on "TULIP" stereo DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) label with ALLE HERSTELLER and catalognumber SKL-101/8. Yes, vinyl has the 1962 date stamped into the trail-off vinyl... The early-style clothbound box as used only on the very first release (...see photo) complete with booklet (dated 11/62), insert and all vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! This is one of the earliest and best copies I have seen in many years... Famous performances by Herbert von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality. Don't miss this rare early copy in fantastic condition - extremely difficult to find these days even here in Germany. See photos...
