Description
Karel Appel, painter, LP Musique Barbare. This copy is not on the Philips label, as most copies of this sought after title are, but on WVB. WVB stands for Wereldvenster Baarn. This label was the first to release this LP.
Reference: 99954 DL. Made in Holland.
I add a xerox copy of a letter from the Wereldvenster Editor which accompanied this LP when it was sent to papers and musicmagazines. The letter dates april 1963.
The vinyl is in EX condition. When viewed under 60 watt bulb several hairthin scuffs can be detected on both sides. The LP plays with occasional mild ticks. Playrating EX.
The fold-out jacket with booklet containing many photographs by Ed van der Elsken is in EX condition. No tears or writing inside. The spine which is made out of linen however is in lesser condition. Something like VG+. It is not so strong anymore. No tears however.
