KAREN STRIBLIN - "Just A Little Girl In Love / We're Not Too Young"
Private Michigan Soul release 45rpm from 1970
Visually graded condition of disc: TOP SIDE: (Strong) VG++ / FLIP SIDE: VG
(Recorded at Midwestern Studios here in Grand Rapids...which was located about 2 miles from where I'm typing this. (The same
studio where I recorded my 3rd Soulbenders single - never released and both Phlegethon singles back in those days.) I was a regular at this
studio back then, and a casual friend of Jackey Beaver's and it's quite possible I was 'at' the session for this record at some point...my
memory isn't that good anymore. VERY rare extremely limited release...it's quite possible that only 100 of these exist, since American
Record Pressing company in Owosso Michigan, where this was pressed, allowed that quantity option. Flip side has an unfortunate
cluster of small scratches from rubbing up against something, so they 'will' be heard for at least a 1/3 of the song on the flip. Top side is in
very good shape. Unlike 99.9% of the records I list here on Ebay, this one was most likely 'played' a couple/three times.)
YOU CAN HEAR THIS RECORD WITH THE LINK BELOW. THE CLIP IS FROM A COPY FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION.
I USE A SHURE V-15 CARTRIDGE TIED FOR MONO FOR MY MONO 45'S TO MINIMIZE NOISE
YOUR RECORD COULD SOUND DIFFERENT USING A STEREO CARTRIDGE
You can hear a clip from the top side (at 64k) HERE
You can hear a clip from the flip side (at 64k) HERE
(Need I mention that your record will sound much better than these low-fi files?) ___________________________________________________________________________

YOU CAN LOOK AT MANY OTHER ITEMS IN MY STORE HERE
Continuing with the liquidation of my record collection passing them on to people who can more appreciate them. These are items from my collection of nearly 40,000 promo singles, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 90's that I was fortunate to acquire from doing 37 years of on-air Rock Radio.
All of my records are guaranteed original pressings. No boots or re-issues.
In the 80's I advertised and auctioned off thousands of records in Goldmine magazine under the name of Hemp's Hits.
If you are a previous customer, you already know of my integrity as an honest dealer.
Those of you who are not familiar with me need only to check my Feedback.
You can bid and buy with complete confidence.
The most important thing you need to know, is that to the absolute best of my knowledge,
nearly all of the records I list, unless otherwise noted, have never ever been played on a turntable.
These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades.
Some carefully, others were not.
All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous. However, because of various quality
in pressings, I cannot guarantee that the pressings themselves will be noise-free. That comes with the territory.
Many 50's (e.g. Chess, Vee-Jay, etc.) & 60's pressings, especially the small independent labels, were
pressed "on-the-cheap" and are somewhat noisy even at NrMint.
I will not play these records for any reason. The record you receive will be like new and unplayed.
MY GRADING SCALE
(very similar to the Goldmine standard)
ALL RECORDS I SELL, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, ARE VISUALLY GRADED AND UNPLAYED!
NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
M- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.
Record grading is subjective. That's why I offer a money back guarantee on
everything I sell (no refunds on shipping charges).

SHIPPING CHARGES
See the Shipping Tab for charges to your location. I use the finest sturdy mailers available with cardboard inserts to insure your package arrives safely. I have not had a single disc delivered broken in nearly 25 years!
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF RECORDS PER PACKAGE IS 16
USA: All 45's shipped to US destinations will go FIRST CLASS MAIL. $3.25 for the first, $1 each additional 45.
If your fee is $4.00 that means your package will also be fully insured.
OVERSEAS: $6.50 for the first single, $1 each additional. I've been having problems with lost packages to ITALY, SPAIN, and RUSSIA. Depending on the value of the record, I may require buyers in those countries to pay for REGISTERED MAIL.
--------------------------------------
EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL (if required - on certain records): Rare records with high values MUST ship with this service for overseas.
Most Ebay sellers charge the buyer the full amount. I, however will SPLIT the $28 fee with you. If the shipping cost on your record is $14, your record will be shipped with this method. It's a safe reliable way to ship valuable records. It offers on-line tracking and speedy service. It also satisfies Paypal's requirements.
