Description
Extremely rare, NM copy of the controversial 1969 Karlheinz Stockhausen double LP, "Hymnen", Deutsche Grammophon SLPM 139 421/22. I purchased this record in 1969 and it is from my personal collection.
The records are in "NM" condition; they were played once and have been stored in the original DGG poly lined paper sleeves since purchase; the deadwax has the encircled "P-1969" indicating the original pressing; matrix numbers on both discs are 2A/2B (see photos).
The gatefold jacket is in "NM" condition with no edgewear or ringwear; the front cover has a minor 1/2" discoloration above the title which is the way it was when purchased (see photos).
I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
