Karp was a post-hardcore heavy metal sludge band from Tumwater, Washington, that formed in 1990 and lasted until 1998. The band was formed by Chris Smith aka Chris "Slayer", Jared Warren, and Scott Jernigan (RIP). Karp managed to mix the terror of hardcore, The Melvins, and Black Sabbath with an ear for pop-influenced song assembly. The band name is inspired from a newsletter/zine that Chris Smith put out in high school and is an acronym that stands for "Kill All Redneck Pricks". This is their 3rd LP. Two members went on to form Big Business, and Tight Bros From Way Back When, and currently often play with the Melvins.
The jacket has some minor scuffing, several edge wrinkles, minor corner rubbing, a creased corner, clean spine and edges. The insert is very clean. The vinyl has some general scuffing and a couple of very light scratches; plays great. Condition is Very Good- / Very Good-.
