Up for auction is a mega-rare audiophile VINYL pressing of KATE BUSH's classic second album 'Lionheart' originally released in the UK in November 1978 on EMI Records. The audiophile pressing I'm offering here today was released the same year by German based company Atr Audio Trade GmbH (cat. no. ATR 008) and pressed in Germany by EMI Electrola GmbH. The back cover states that this MASTER CUT RECORDING of 'Lionheart' was remastered for Atr by a certain Georg Kamann at the EMI Cutting Center in Cologne (Germany). This remaster-version of KATE BUSH's 'Lionheart' is certainly a rare find these days for any serious KATE BUSH collector/completist! The SLEEVE bears the printed Atr logo as well as their catalogue number (ATR 008) on the front panel. The back-panel of the SLEEVE shows a longer printed technical statement of Atr Audio Trade at the bottom.

The fold-out RECORD SLEEVE is still in EXCELLENT++ condition, it shows NO ring-wear, NO seam-splits, NO unwanted writing, NO nasty sticker marks etc. The SLEEVE shows only a tiny bit of wear to the spine, i.e. three or four minor nicks (I'm very, very picky here!!!). All in all a fantastic sample of a 35 year old alternate version of the 'Lionheart' album!

Both matt-finished black & gold record LABELS are in NEAR MINT condition, there are absolutely NO spidermarks around the spindle-holes!

Both sides of the VINYL album are shiny and mirror-like! There's not a single mark or scuff to report off! PLAYBACK for both sides is NEAR MINT!
MATRIX numbers are for Side 1: 667785 - A1 and for Side 2: 667785 - B1 plus a hand-etched 7753

MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.

VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
