Description
This one is still super hard to find: Kathy Smith’s “2”, Stormy Forest 6009, 1971. Released on Richie Havens’ label, one track was lifted for the “Folk is Not A Four Letter Word” comp a couple years back, but the whole album is a stunning example of funky female psychedelic folk rock, featuring Don Alias, Jan Hammer (of Mahavishnu Orchestra), Gerry Gemmot (BB King), and Tony Levin (pre-King Crimson), among other excellent members of her band. Gorgeous vocals & pulsing arrangements reminiscent of Joni Mitchell’s finer jazz-rock moments.
CONDITION
COVER: VG, with ring wear, some spine wear, & top seam split a little less than halfway.
VINYL: VG+, plays great!

ALL RECORDS ARE PLAY GRADED. I follow the standard grading system (listed below). I rarely, if ever, grade things NM, & Mint is only reserved for sealed records. If something is super clean, the highest I generally go is VG++.
I will offer a refund if unsatisfied, withing 3 days of purchase.
SEALED - considered MINT. Never opened. Flawless, with no damage whatsoever.
VG++ is clean, looks unplayed, but opened or played a few times. Shiny, no flaws.
VG+ is vinyl that may have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
VG is vinyl that may have slight crackles or pops or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally never continuously and not more loudly than the music being listened to. If there is anything distracting about the sound quality, I ALWAYS LIST IT!
