Description
Prestige Bluesville 1050, "Big Road Blues" with K.C. Douglas, vocals and guitar. Original blue-and-silver-label vinyl plays at VG++ with very light static that seems to be from the pressing itself; there are no marks on the shiny vinyl. The jacket is NM and still in the original shrink wrap; there are no seamwear, ringwear, corner wear, bends, dirt, or stamps; there is a tiny price code written at lower corner on back where shrink was broken; the rear cover is remarkably free of age toning. Songs are "Big Road Blues", "Howling Blues", "Move to Kansas City", "Buck Dance", "Tore Your Playhouse Down", "Bottle Up and Go", "Whiskey Headed Woman", "Catfish Blues", "K.C.'s Blues", "Canned Heat", and "Key to the Highway". This well-loved LP supposedly provided the name for the Canned Heat band a few years later. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $16.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $11.75 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
