Keef Hartley Band 'Halfbreed' 1969 UK original vinyl album on the Deram red/white label, catalogue number SML 1037 (stereo)
The numbers and letters stamped on the vinyl are:- Side 1: ZAL-8598-1W 1 K 'JT' (tax code) Side 2: ZAL-8599-1W 1 C 'JT' (tax code)
This is a very heavy vinyl and it is not warped. Both sides of the record have some light surface scratches and bag marks clearly visible when viewed under a strong light but I cannot feel any of them. The sound quality all the way through is excellent - very clear - but there are some light ticks and a little light crackle which can be heard on and off (they don't spoil it but they are there most noticeable, Side 1, track 1). There are no sticks, no skips, no jumps and, I repeat, very little lessening of the sound quality.
The track titles can be seen on the label photographs. The labels have some light spindle lines and a couple of small handling marks, but no writing, no damage.
The cover is a gatefold type, the front back and spine are covered with a clear laminate. The front has a few short creases by the spine, three thumb creases near the open edge and a few barely visible indents - the back has similar short creases by the spine and two thumb creases by the open edge. The tips of the corners are slightly rubbed (not much) and there is slight surface rubbing which traces the outside edge of the record, but not as much as there appears to be in the photos. The centre piece is in excellent condition, just a small opque original stereo sticker removal mark where the adhesive dried and it fell off - overall this is a really well looked after cover.
The spine is wide and mainly as new, except for some rub wear at the tips of the ends - it is completely and clearly readable.
The inner sleeve is the original, stereo with a blue border and poly-liner - all fully intact, no seam splits, no tears, no writing.
I have checked the Record Collector grading system and I would say the cover is 'excellent', the record is 'very good' and the audio quality is at least 'very good+' and much of the time better than that.
I have described this as carefully and honestly as possible, but it is a no return item so please bid accordingly.
It will be packed in a record mailing box with two pieces of card inside for further protection.
