Description
A great opportunity to buy a RARE VINYL LP from the 60's by the Keef Hartley Band called "Halfbreed".
This is an ORIGINAL U.K. pressing released in 1969 on the Deram label (SML 1037)(stereo). It has a total of 7 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers are:- ZAL 8598-1W (side 1) and ZAL 8599-1W (side 2).
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are very few surface marks noticeable. I have played the whole of both sides and they play fine and sound superb.
The labels are clean and free from any writing or major defects.
The record is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within the original company inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition.
The laminated gatefold picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. There is some very minor shelf wear at the corners, but the edges and spine are still strong and the text on the spine is clearly legible (see photos). There is a small crease on the laminate half way down the opening edge. The back cover has the "mono / stereo" holes in the top corner (indicative of a first pressing). Inside the gatefold cover is clean and unmarked. There is just a trace of a ripple along the top edge where the original glue used to paste down the cover did not stick (see photo), otherwise there is little else to report. Overall this is clearly a well preserved cover and vinyl and it should be of much interest to avid collectors of Progressive Rock / Blues.
