You are bidding on a very rare LP by THE KEITH TIPPETT GROUP. It is called "Dedicated To You, But You Weren't Listening" and it was issued in Germany in 1971. It was released on Vertigo Swirl - 6360 024. Original first pressing with 'A Philips Record Product' statement on label. With 10 AA6360024 1Y/10 AA6360024 2Y matrixes, indicating a very first issue. Very experimental music, which is hard to describe. I guess 'free experimental jazz-rock' would come closest... Basically, the kind of music that could ONLY be found on Vertigo label.
Featuring the following musicians: Keith Tippett (piano, Hohner electric piano), Elton Dean (alto, saxello), Marc Charig (cornet), Nick Evans (trombone), Robert Wyatt (drums), Bryan Spring (drums), Phil Howard (drums), Tony Uta (conga drums, cow bell), Roy Babbington (bass, bass guitar), Neville Whitehead (bass) and Gary Boyle (guitar).
Truly a great keeper's copy. Obviously handled with a lot of love and care. Looks unplayed!
