Description

KENNY BURRELL"Vol. 2" 1957 original issue Lp on BLUE NOTE 1543 with double deep groove Lexington labels, RVG and ear in dead wax. Andy Warhol cover art. Songs include Get Happy, But Not For Me, Mexico City, Moten Swing, Cheeta, Now See How You Are, Phinupi, How About You. Kenny Burrell - guitar, Tommy Flanagan/Bobby Timmons - piano, Paul Chambers/Sam Jones/Oscar Pettiford - bass Kenny Clarke/Arthur Edgehill/Shadow Wilson - drums, Candido - conga drums, Kenny Dorham - trumpet, J.R. Monterose/Frank Foster - tenor.

Cover VG+ some general wear, flaking along bottom seam/corner with 1/2" split at opening, lite soiling/tiny sticker pull/price in pencil on back. Vinyl VG+ clean double deep groove labels, full gloss, paper marks, a few very lite scuffs, plays great with insignificant occasional lite noise. Despite these imperfections this is an enjoyable, very presentable copy of a rare classic jazz recording.
