Label does not have “R” symbol under Blue Note logo.

“RVG” and ear symbol are stamped in the runout area on both sides.

Condition: 

DISC:  Nice VG++ with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.  There are a few very minor scuffs - not audible save for an occasional isolated minor tic or two per side – but no serious marks or distractions. 

Fidelity is excellent as you can hear in the accompanying sound clip from Side 1, Track 1.  Labels are clean. 

A fine playing copy of one of the rarer early Blue Notes!

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG++.  Laminated front panel with ANDY WARHOL artwork is clean and bright; bottom right corner has 3 small crease lines that occurred in manufacturing when the slick was applied - nothing serious.  Seams and spine are very nice.  Tiny chips at the corner tips.  Reverse has darkened a bit with age, and there are traces of ring wear starting to appear.   No splits, writing, stickers or other issues. 

This is the real deal – superb jazz artistry, a rare early Blue Note, and one of Warhol’s finest jackets, all in one rare package.
