Kenny Burrell - Weaver Of Dreams (Classic)
Box set of two 12" metal lacquers which were cut from the master tapes provided to Classic Records by Columbia for an LP reissue. These were likely made around the same time as other titles in this series, between 2013-2015. Only two sets of these lacquers were made, and this copy is numbered "2 of 2" on a sticker on the bottom of the box. The box also has a test pressing label on lid which has catalog number and "Lacquers" stamped on top, and a title sticker and custom Classic Records "seals" on both sides of the lid.
Full contents include two lacquers (each is one-sided, "A" and "B"). Unlike other titles in this series, there is no fully manufactured cover for the reissue LP included. It is likely that the LP reissue was scrapped around this time and covers were not made, as there has not been a Classic Records reissue of this title since 1995.
These lacquers were used in the actual production of the LP, and as such they are USED. They have writing on the bottom blank sides, and the lacquer itself is starting to peel from the sides of the plate. This does not affect play, but as they are incredibly fragile they might peel further in the future if not cared for properly. We have tested the discs just to see if they play and they do, although with a little bit of pop and crackle at the very beginning of the side.
