Description
We are thrilled and honoured to be offering for sale a number of items from the late Stan Tracey's own personal collection on behalf of his son Clark Tracey. This includes many extremely rare albums, some purchased by Stan during his time in New York, plus test pressings and other gems collected over his lifetime as a musician and composer.
Kenny Clarke Wendell Marshall Hank Jones - The Trio. Released in 1956 on the London Records red/silver label as part of their American Jazz Recording series -released in the US on the Savoy label.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl is spotlessly clean & has very few visible marks. Clean labels & spindle holes - graded VG+. For the age this is in lovely condition.
Playtest reveals a warm & dense mono sound with depth and detail.It plays beautifully with no jumping or sticking.
The full laminate sleeve is clean & sturdy with no laminate lift - a tiny area of wear to the bottom edge, but barely anything worth mentioning. A 1cm tear to the opening front - otherwise solid with no writing, splits, stains or tape.
Record supplied in a new poly lined inner sleeve.
The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
