Description
A beautiful original pressing of the Jazz Contemporary album by Kenny Dorham on Time Records (52004), which also features Charles Davis, Steve Kuhn, Jimmy Garrison, Butch Warren and Buddy Enlow. This is a gatefold album.
The red labels read: "TIME - Series 2000." The machine-etched matrix reads: "L90P 5623-1" on side 1 and "L90P 5624-1" on side 2. There is also a machine-etched "A1" in the trail off on both sides. This is a deep groove pressing.
The front cover is clean with slight ring wear and some black rubbing. The corners are all dinged. The bottom left corner is slightly creased/bent. Near the top left corner there is a small fading "T-122" written in blue pen, as well as a small square-ish discoloration (looks like a label was removed). The inside gatefold is clean with some light ring wear and slight discoloration (mainly in the corner toward the top of the spine). There is also an inch split in the paper in the center of the spine. The back cover has some spots of discoloration and the bottom right corner is creased.
The vinyl is VG+ (9 out of 10, the vinyl is pristine aside from some specs of dust and one nick on side 2). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
