Description

Scarce and much-requested northern soul 45 rpm featuring KENNY HAMBER on the ARCTIC label, from 1967.  This is one of the all-time classics – titles are “ANYTHING YOU WANT” and “Ain’t Gonna Cry (Over One Girl).”  This is a stock copy, baby blue label with royal blue print.  Catalog number is Arctic 131.       

 

This record has been played quite a few times, and shows some general wear, scuffs, and hairlines.  Label also shows noticeable wear and has name of original owner “GAIL” in black pen.  Approximately 50 percent of the original gloss remains.  That said, it plays remarkably well as you can hear in the attached sound clip.  There is a bit of minor surface noise, but it is always well below the music, and the overall fidelity is very strong and crisp.  No pops, clicks, or skips. 

 

This will not be suitable for the collector seeking top condition, but if you are looking for a copy that plays decently at a reasonable price, this may be just the ticket.  Please listen to the sound clip from this actual record, and judge for yourself.
