Continuing my trawl through my record collection I would like to offer :-

A great song from this very underrated UK singer / songwriter. This has always been one of my favourites.
The vinyl sports the marks and scuffs of a well played record of this age. Some look bad but they are mostly surface marks and the record plays fine on both sides with a bit of background noise which does not really interfere with the enjoyment of the great music. It would benefit from a clean.
The labels are unmarked on both sides except for spindle marks around the centres.
Supplied in a plain sleeve
Postage in the U.K. will cost £1.50 for up to two records. The item will be covered against loss by a proof of posting form but signed for recorded delivery will cost 65 pence extra. Higher insurance will require discussion as will overseas postage.
These records are from my personal collection which has been built from the early sixties. I am not a dealer and I do not do the misleading visual grading bit. I play every record before listing and hope to give an honest opinion of sound and appearance.

It is cheaper for me to list these records if the starting bid is low, that is all. I also like to give everyone, rich or poor, a fair go at my stuff and not take away the fun before the auction has even started by demanding a high opening bid.
On 11-Mar-05 at 22:19:53 GMT, seller added the following information:Furthermore I would like to add ( after various and numerous questions) the background noise mentioned does not include regular distracting clicks, pops or bumps but just a bit of hairline crackle in the first few quiet bars of the song that can be removed by backing off the treble a little bit. After the first few bars the music takes over anyway. It will probably not show up on most standard equipment . Basically, if you want a record to listen to or play to other interested parties this will be perfect. If you want a mint, absolutely silent and fault free museum piece then please keep searching and good luck.

Because of the approaching Easter Holidays and the fact that my wife has declared that the entire fortnight be an Ebay-free and computer-free zone my last posting day will be Tuesday the 22nd March. Any items not paid for by this time will be dealt with when I return on 3rd April. I hope this is O.K.
Our grown -up children will still be here and I could ask them to deal with it but I would get better results from our cat who is far less flaky and much better organised.
