Description
This now hard-to-find record is a limited edition 45 RPM single from Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon called Kennywood Park sung to the tune of his Palisades Park.
It was released back in the late 1980s as a fundraiser for Pittsburgh's Children's Hospital.
In this, Freddy substitutes the ride names at Kennywood at the time for the original lyrics of his Palisades Park record from the 1960's.
You can hear a highly edited (poor audio quality) portion of this record on you tube in a commercial that uses it by searching for "Commercial: Kennywood Park (1988)".
The flip side is With A Little Love.
I've had this since it was new; it maybe has been played once.
I had bought several to be stored away and had another that I did play.
The sleeve is a little wrinkled, has a small tear at the top edge and is separated a little on the wrinkled top corner.
