Kevin Ayers “Bananamour” original 1973 LP on Harvest.

I bought this new in the shop and only played it carefully a few times. I had a quality system, so the LP is near mint with no defects at all. Catalogue number SHVL 807 with A3 and B3 matrixes.
The inner sleeve is white with a poly liner. The non-laminated textured gatefold sleeve, made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd, shows very little wear, and appears close to new overall. It would be hard to find a better one!! This cover is extremely prone to wear, but guess what? I looked after it! In detail, there is no ring wear at all, no handling creases, and only a tiny almost invisible scratch on the front which was there when I bought it in the early 1970s. Hardly any rack or shelf wear at all, and no other damage at all. It still looks flat and new, with a superb spine, although the front cover was not bound right to the top of the spine when it was manufactured, which is typical on this sleeve. This is not damage.
The silver ink still glistens and there is no noticeable wear anywhere, but check the pictures as I will try to show how close to new it is! Brilliant!!
The record itself is about perfect, played only a few times using a “dust bug” cleaner, & the labels and vinyl are perfect with no issues. You will find it very difficult to find a better copy. I would grade this as about near mint, although a mint copy of the sleeve will be quite elusive. Mine was in this condition when I bought it apart from the tiny amount of wear through being looked at a few times, and it is not quite mint, but really nice.
