On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Kevin Ayers called "Joy Of A Toy" and is a VERY rare 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Harvest label!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING!!!!  MOST COPIES WERE BOUGHT LATER IN THE 1970S WHEN KEVIN AYERS BECAME MORE POPULAR AND HAVE LATER LABELS - SO IT IS VERY HARD INDEED TO FIND A 100% GENIUNE 1970 1ST PRESSING WITH NO EMI BOX ON THE LABELS (LATER ONES DO)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS 1ST PRESSING IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS HARVEST LABEL, NO 'EMI BOX' ON THE LABEL, 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING AND MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the original Harvest UK 1st pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SHVL 763 on the 1st Press Harvest Label (see picture) and is a UK 1st Stereo pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  HOWEVER - whilst the Side 2 is a perfectly normal coloured 1st Press label - the Side 1 looks to have been misprinted in the wrong colour!!!!  Of course - the first thing I thought was that someone had 'coloured in' the label at some point - but after looking more closely at the label - it appears the colour is actually part of the label itself and I can see no evidence of 'colouring in'.  And even when examined closely around the centre hole - you can clearly see the colour goes right to the bottom of the label itself and is completely universal and even in colour over the label!!!!  IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE - that BOTH labels are 1st Press labels - and even on the darker label - you can clearly see it has NO 'EMI' box and 'Gramophone Company' text on the label - signifying a 1st Pressing!!!! And it is also VERY IMPORTANT to make clear just how rare this LP is as a GENUINE 1st Pressing!!!! This LP sold VERY poorly when first released and virtually EVERY copy you see is a MUCH later pressing!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, 4 or 5 absolutely TINY marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  Virtually the WHOLE RECORD has NO clicks/pops AT ALL - apart from the 4 ot 5 TINY marks which do cause on average only 2/3 soft clicks/pops each (though this is VERY minor indeed)!!!!  The record VERY STRICTLY grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT 'trashed') if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
