Kevin Ayers
'Shooting At The Moon'
Harvest, UK, 1970
SHSP 4005
A WONDERFUL release (his second album) from the brilliant Kevin Ayers pushing at the very boundaries of progressive music featuring a host of characters including Lol Coxhill, David Bedford, Mick Fincher and Mike Oldfield. Boasts an incredible musical scope and exquisite songs from full-on prog to out-there avant garde whimsy. Recognised now as arguably his greatest work.
