Description
I have been collecting records for decades and the time has come for some of them to find a new home. Most will be in excellent condition, some have been in my family for years and remain unplayed. I will grade them all fairly and listen to them before listing.
All of them will be professionally cleaned before being sent.

Up for auction here is a Uk first pressing of the 1970 album by Kevin Ayers and the Whole World entitled Shooting at the Moon.Released in the Uk on Harvest Records catalogue number SHSP 4005.
Matrix / Runout (A Side): SHSP 4005A - 2G and SHSP 4005B - 2G on side B
The vinyl is visually in Excellent + condition and looks barely played. The audio is also excellent and plays through superbly without any skips or jumps. There is a bit of normal background crackle and a very light click towards the end of Lunatics Lament but nothing that spoiled the listeners pleasure. Overall it was a superb listen and I would grade the audio as a strong Excellent.
The Labels are in awesome condition which shows how little this has been played . I would grade them as Excellent . One of them has a factory sample sticker which indicates it may have been a promo of some kind .
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipback sleeve has some light signs of wear and creasing but is still a nice example. I would grade it as Very Good +
The record comes with its original harvest inner sleeve.
Overall a very nice copy of this classic.

I use Record Collector ratings to grade my vinyl. These are :
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missin
