This is the album that introduced MIKE OLDFIELD to the world.

This is a 1971 UK release on the HARVEST label - FIRST PRESSING. It has a gatefold sleeve made of very flimsy special cardboard. It is a PROMO COPY with a sticker on the label saying 'Factory Sample - NOT FOR SALE'.

I was Kevin Ayers' press person at EMI, so got this through work when it came out. It has only been played a few times as I had an office copy.

I had an excellent stereo system with the most expensive Shure cartridge available. The record was only played once a day so the vinyl grooves could regain their proper shape. The disc was only handled on the edges and was cleaned with a DiscPreener before each play. The vinyl is in flawless condition. It looks brand new.

Matrix numbers are: SHVL 800 - A-1 /B-1

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with no scratches or marks. The label is perfect with no spindle marks.

The cover is in EXCELLENT condition with no bends, marks or tears. The cover is made from very flimsy cardboard that doesn't last very long if it's not looked after - this is perfect, carefully stored and handled. It's rare to find this cover in perfect condition, but this looks like it just came from the shop.

You will never find another copy of this album in better condition.
