Kevin Ayers “Whatevershebringswesing” original 1972 LP on Harvest.
Re-listed due to bogus bidder!
I bought this new in the shop and only played it carefully a few times. I had a quality system, so the LP is near mint with no defects at all. Superb vinyl!
Catalogue number SHVL 800 with A1 and B1 matrixes.
The inner sleeve is the early 1970s Harvest sleeve with a poly liner, now detached.
The textured non-laminated gatefold sleeve, made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd, shows very little wear, and appears almost excellent overall. In detail, there is no ring wear at all, only minor handling creases from the factory, which were there when I bought it in the early 1970s. The only wear is the typical shelf wear, which this sleeve is very prone to, as it is an extremely fragile item. The wear extends to the bottom edges and part of the spine, and lightly on the top and bottom opening edges (see the photos), but overall the sleeve is really very good, even with this wear, as it is flat and nice. The record itself is about perfect, played only a few times using a “dust bug” cleaner, & the labels and vinyl are perfect with no issues.
You will find it very difficult to find a better copy. I would grade this as excellent overall. Part of my Kevin Ayers collection all being listed this week!!
