This album is a very first pressing with A-1 & B-1 matrices.

Kevin Ayers (16 August 1944 – 18 February 2013) was an English singer-songwriter and a major influential force in the English psychedelic movement. Ayers was a founding member of the pioneering psychedelic band Soft Machine in the mid-1960s, and was closely associated with the Canterbury scene. He recorded a series of albums as a solo artist and over the years worked with Brian Eno, Syd Barrett, John Cale, Elton John, Robert Wyatt, Andy Summers, Mike Oldfield, Nico and Ollie Halsall, among others. After living for many years in Deià, Majorca, he returned to the United Kingdom in the mid-1990s before moving to the south of France.

Both record labels are in undamaged Near Mint condition, superb looking record labels with just a few light play signs.

Side1 matrix SHVL 800 A-1 & side 2: SHVL 800 B-1.
Side 1 mother stampers: 1 H and Side 2: 1L.

Both sides of the beautiful vinyl LP are in Excellent Plus condition, the LP is free from any scratches or scuffs, and with just a couple of surface hairlines .

The LP plays without faults through all the Tracks. The sound quality is superb.

The LP comes in it’s original Harverst Record Inner Bag and is protected in it’s original fully textured Gatefold Picture Sleeve, the sleeve is in superb Excellent Plus Plus condition. There are no seam splits or tears, with just a couple of mild corner bumps, all edges, spine edge and inner gatefold are perfect and are undamaged.

This is a superb example of this original first pressing of this 1972 UK LP from Kevin Ayers.
