Description
We have for sale this fantastic UK LP from Kevin Ayers entitled 'Whatevershebringswesing'.
Cover - Very Good+
Inner - Very Good (not the original)
Vinyl - Very Good+ (Playing) / Very Good+ (Visually)
Matrix - SHVL800 A-1 / SHVL800 B-1
This original 1st Press UK Harvest LP plays very well with no jumps or skips or any real loss of sound quality. There is some low level crackle at the start of side 1 and a tiny amount in the grooves between tracks, side 2 is silent, no crackle at all, so overall we have graded this LP as very good plus. Visually, we also grade this album as very good plus. There are no fingerprint marks, 2-3 little hairline scratches on each side, one paper scuff on side 1, overall this is still a really clean and shiny LP. The labels are clean and free from writing, marks or stains with some light spindle traces.
The inner is not the original and is in very good condition, it is intact with no marks, splits or writing, just one small tear at the top opening.
The original Garrod & Lofthouse textured gatefold cover is in very good plus condition. There is some slight scuffing to the corners with a little on the edges. The spine is good, nearly all words are completely readable, just some slight scuffing gets in the way at the start/top. There are no creases to the front and back cover. The inside of the gatefold has some slight rubbing/ringwear yet still looks really great. This cover is completely intact, no rips, tears, stains, marks or writing. Have a look at the pictures for further details.
Overall this is in very good plus condition and is a great addition to anyone's collection.
All gradings are in accordance with the Record Collector's Grading System which is listed at the bottom of this write-up for reference.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
