Cover: Unlaminated textured E J Day 1st pressing non-gatefold cover. No writings/doodles (other than those drawn by Kevin Coyne himself as part of the rear cover artwork) and no seam splits. Nice readable spine. The top and bottom edges have some wear and the front/rear has light ringwear. Rates as VG+ to Near Excellent.

 

Vinyl: Looks to be Excellent to Excellent+. Lovely sheen. I bought this off a Radio Station in London back in 1973 when they were selling some of their stock. I only ever played it once and I think it was only given a couple of plays by the Radio Station. Not mint but not far off.

Labels: Has a "Manufacturers Property - Not for Sale" promo sticker on Side 1. Also has a hand written 1 on Side 1 and Side 2 has an R and 2 hand written on it. I assume these were written by the distributor before being sent to the press/media or maybe by one of the Radio Station DJs. Labels themselves are excellent+.

Gradings.......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
