No other band has soundtracked the 2000s more than Vegas rockers The Killers and now their nearly 15 years-long discography will be celebrated in one place with a seven-volume Killers Career Vinyl Box through Island/UMe on 15 June.

The career-spanning collection will be available on 180-gram black vinyl, in addition to a limited-edition 180-gram clear vinyl version and both will include a slip mat featuring the “K” from the band’s logo and inspired by the vintage lights of the Las Vegas Strip

This career retrospective vinyl box marks the first time that all seven of the band’s albums have been collected in one complete box set including: Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town, Sawdust, Day & Age, Battle Born, Wonderful Wonderful and for the first time on vinyl, Live From The Royal Albert Hall.

Originally released in November 2009 as a live DVD, this double live album captures the kinetic energy of their historic lives shows at the Royal Hall in 2009 and is now available as a double LP and is exclusive to the Career Vinyl Box. It also includes their mid-career compilation album, Sawdust, which contains B-sides, covers and remixes, as well as an outtake from Sam’s Town, and ‘Tranquilize’, featuring a guest appearance by Lou Reed.

As arguably the biggest indie-pop stars on the planet, their indie days are well behind them, selling out stadiums and playing tributes at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And yet it seems just like yesterday that every 20-something in skinny jeans was blaring the indie disco staple ‘Mr Brightside’ from The Killers’ three-times-platinum 2004 debut album, Hot Fuss. Even 14 years later, the band’s most enduring single remains firmly in the charts, having just its 200th week in the Billboard top 100.

After Hot Fuss ushered in their signature post-New Wave sound with massive hooks, they continued on their course of amassing hit after hit of transcendent anthems from ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’ and to the Springsteen-eque singalong ‘When You Were Young’ off their sophomore album Sam’s Town.

With his stylish swagger and crooning tenor, frontman Brandon Flowers could turn his sardonic streak on songs like “Smile Like You Mean It,” and ‘Somebody Told Me’ into chart gold. With each album, the group flexed their versatility, from the garage rock-pop of Hot Fuss to electro-clash energy of Day & Age to the stadium rocker of Battle Born and most recently 2017’s funk-infused Wonderful Wonderful, which snagged the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

Shipping

Your item will be safely packaged in a bespoke vinyl mailer. We offer automatic postage discounts (where prices are applied) on multiple purchases. We dispatch Monday to Friday - orders placed by 12 noon will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12 noon, or at the weekend, will be dispatched on the next working day.

Most vinyl items come from the manufacturer in a shrink wrap seal. We take immense care in the packing process to protect the seal from any stress. However, the seal is fragile and may, from time to time, become detached. We cannot accept any responsibility for this happening in the transportation process and nor can we accept returns on the basis of the seal breaking.

On rare occasions vinyl items are manufactured and shipped without a shrink wrap seal. In these circumstances we will place the item in a bespoke vinyl protector to reduce the risk of any damage to the product during packaging and transportation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Pre-sale orders are subject to manufacturers/distributors supply and how they determine to distribute this supply. Occasionally the record labels or distributors will have to cut orders if the supply from the manufacturer is outstripped by the demand for the product. This is completely outside of our control and may mean that we will also have to cut our orders. Should this occur you will be informed and refunded immediately. In such circumstances we will operate on a first come, first served basis; we will also cut any multiple orders to single orders in order to ensure, inasfar as we can that everyone gets at least one copy of the title. Occasionally there is a delay in the manufacturing process that may delay your delivery; if this should happen then we will endeavour to keep you fully informed of the progress of your item.

Our pre-sale listings use the marketing information and image packs supplied to us. At times the design of the packaging or colour of the vinyl, tracklisting etc may be amended by the record label after the marketing information has been sent out. We are often not informed of such amendments and, therefore, bear no responsibility and cannot offer a refund on the basis of such amendments.

Where the item listed is a Pre-Order, the release date is clearly stated within the eBay listing. In the case of a Pre-order, the delivery timescales and delivery dates calculated and shown on eBay, are not precise, and should be ignored. We use our best endeavours to get the item to you on, or shortly after, the release date, however, the speed of the Royal Mail is beyond our control.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if it is not suitable for any reason, we are happy to refund your purchase providing it is:

• Returned within 14 days of receiving your order
• It is in original undamaged packaging with all tags intact
• The product is in the same condition as how you received it
• You have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of our goods whilst they are in your possession and during transit. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged when they are returned, and request that you ask the Post Office to stamp the Proof of Posting label when returning products by post.
