We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. It's hard to talk about Muddy Waters without resorting to magnificence. While the songs on Real Folk Blues can be described as standard blues--and over the years, many of them became blues standards--Muddy Waters simply did them the best. Maybe it's that there's never a note out of place, maybe it's raw blues, yet Muddy makes up for any it sound easy; or maybe it's that baritone voice. Or maybe it's the magical pairing of Muddy the player and Willie Dixon the songwriter, which produced "Mannish Boy," "Walking Blues," "Same Thing," and more. This Howlin' Wolf album is possibly the best of his batch, and one of the best introductions to this mercurial electric bluesman. Opening with the savage "Killing Floor," the album doesn't let up in intensity, and it happily focuses on Wolf's less-anthologized sides, which gives the album a freshness a lot of blues compilations lack. From the sly "Built for Comfort" and "Three Hundred Pounds of Fun" to the apocalyptic "Natchez Burning," every track is pure Chicago blues at its finest. Whatever it is, it's on this album--blues music so real you can taste it.

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: M- front cover, really nice, THICK cardboard cover, laminated and the appearance is one virtually anyone would accept with no upgrade needed. The non laminated back cover is the sticky point being over 50 years of age, cream colored and usually attracts dirt soil easily, this back cover is not as M- as the front, showing slight signs of previous use but far and away better than most originals, let's call it VG++ to be safe. All-in-all a hell of a strong copy - if the lucky winner doesn't agree, no problem, as most collectors would relish to own in our opinion. The seams are solid, corners are sharp, this pressing is 100% legit as a first issue...no bends, no writing, no delete marks.
The vinyl: Rated: M- beautiful, clean! Plays as nice as it looks... IF you have been looking for a copy of this legendary album, it is most likely you have found it! Overall full of bright clear shine and overall played very enjoyable here with mint audio. Both CHESS labels are clean with, no writing, dirt/soil, or noticeable spindle marks
