Description
A very hard to find number in the "500" series, here's a very nice original 1965 first issue copy of this superb Holland - Dozier - Holland penned tune from KIM WESTON with "TAKE ME IN YOUR ARMS (ROCK ME A LITTLE WHILE)" on the UK Tamla Motown imprint # TMG 538 and backed with "DON'T COMPARE ME WITH HER".
This disc plays perfectly with great audible quality and is best described as a strong very good plus verging more towards excellent with light sleeve rubs and odd light fingernail scuff. It plays as excellent plus with just the barest minimum of crackle on the lead in and run out groove. It has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are clean on both sides other than some light 'WOL' on the 'A' side in the form of a name just to the left of the Tamla Motown logo (see picture scans on magnification). It's been in my collection for a long time and the 'WOL' is so light, I'd never noticed it before this listing but still a very nice copy to grace any collection and paired with a new replica company sleeve.
From my personal collection that I'm thinning out so why not check out my other listings for more top sounds!
The record will be shipped in a stiffened card outer by Royal Mail First Class Large Letter "Signed For" service only. This provides protection for both parties in the unlikely event of loss.
NOTE: SORRY, UK BIDDERS ONLY OR, INTERNATIONALLY VIA THE EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FEEDBACK WILL ALWAYS BE LEFT AFTER FIRST RECEIVING THE SAME.
