Description
KIND OF BLUE, Miles Davis, Columbia LP, CL 1355, 6-eye label, early impression, in clear plastic inner sleeve. Local estate pick-up, have not cleaned or tested it in any way. Very nice record, has not been played much, VG+. Does need to be cleaned, has some dust etc. on surfaces. Details on condition as follows:
Cover: Light corner crease bottom left AND bottom right, 1" scuff over Davis' tie, a few other scuffs and rubbing spots, more notable on darker front surface. Light edgewear, lettering along spine very good. Has small "4-60" in pen top right corner of backside, just under CL 1355.
Labels: Columbia 6-eye, very little spindle wear around center holes. I see maybe 3 small scratches on 2, the very faintest of label wear on circle's edge on side 1 (though there's a very light vertical line in the label - I think an artifact of manufacturing vs label wear). Colors on labels are bright and crisp.
Record surfaces: Excellent. Nice glossy finish. I see one very thin 1" scratch / needle mark on Side 1, nothing deep or significant, scattered minor imperfections and very very thin needle marks, nothing else of note. Side 2 one 1/8" roundish scuff - may be a fingerprint, no other issue worth noting aside from scattered minor imperfections. As mentioned above, there is some dust on surfaces, a stray piece of lint here and there, etc - needs a good cleaning.
Pressing: XLP47324-1J Side 1, XLP47325-1J Side 2.
Shipping: Will be wrapped, then sandwiched in 4 layers of cardboard, shipped media mail or priority, your choice.
