These shows were pressed in limited numbers and sent to radio stations. They were never made available to the public. LP's are in excellent condition.
Very rare original promotional issue for radio use only. Pressed on dark translucent vinyl. These were produced in limited quantities as they were intented for broadcast use only, and most copies were destroyed after use. The radio programs include original music, random audio samples between songs to enhance the theme of each show, original commercials and/or exclusive interviews. They are very hard to find, especially in this condition. Each show includes its original cue sheet. These belonged to a radio DJ that saved them from the trash can, and now you can have a rare original copy of a great radio show. Get it while you can.
The granddaddy of syndicated live radio concerts, The King Biscuit Flower Hour was carried on 100’s of rock radio stations across America from 1973 to 2007. New programs ceased in 1993 and after that, old shows were repeated. They were produced by D.I.R. Radio in New York City.
