On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by King Crimson called 'In The Court Of The Crimson King' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pink 'i' Island label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IT IS ALSO IN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CONDITION!!!! THIS WAS KING CRIMSONS FIRST LP EVER - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE AS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING!!!! IT IS EASILY KING CRIMSONS RAREST AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER LP EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! BUT NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER - AND HAS SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! I WILL EXPLAIN ALL THE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAILS BELOW:
FIRSTLY THE LABELS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD ARE 'TEXTURED' (LATER ONES ARE NOT) AND THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A//2 B//2 MATRIXES (LATER ONES HAVE HIGHER NUMBERS!)!!!! AND SECONDLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE VINYL IS MUCH MUCH THICKER THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS (AND IN MY OPINION PLAYS FAR FAR BETTER TOO)!!!! MOST PINK 'i' ISLAND STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS (WITH LATER MATRIXES) ARE ON VERY THIN VINYL - BUT THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 'TEXTURED' LABELS IS AT LEAST DOUBLE THE THICKNESS OF MOST STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS!!!! AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT IN MY MIND - THAT THIS 'DOUBLE THICKNESS' VINYL ON THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING GIVES FAR FAR BETTER SOUND THAT ANY LATER PRESSING ON THINNER VINYL!!!! THIS LP IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING (WITH ALL THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAILS GIVEN ABOVE!) AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER ONE!!!!
BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CONDITION!!!! THE RECORD IS IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION, AND THE GATEFOLD COVER IS SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' PINK 'i' ISLAND LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in AWESOME condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9111 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Pink 'i' Island label (see picture) and is a 1969 Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, barely ANY creases AT ALL (Cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking!), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! AWESOME COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
