Description
King Crimson - 'In the Court of the Crimson King - An Observation by King Crimson' - 1969 original stereo album on the pink Island label - ILPS-9111. Matrix numbers are A 2 1 2 8 (I think) and B 4 1 1 6.
The LP really is being sold only as a 'filler' copy. It has a lot of marks and plays with variable surface noise - side one is somewhat better (although still clearly only playing at a fair level) but side 2 which is quieter with 'Moonchild' etc really has a lot of interference through crackle and clicks. So - at best fair, with a lot of the album only playing really poorly. It does play all the way through however without sticking or jumping.
The heavy card E. J. Day gatefold sleeve is however in reasonably nice condition - there are no splits or tears and it is clean to the front and back. The spine is somewhat worn however with the top and bottom demonstrating the worst wear. It is clean, particularly internally, and I will grade overall as VG+.
Can I reiterate that the album playback quality is only at a fair to poor level - please do not bid expecting otherwise.
