Description
A rare first pressing of King Crimson's prog-rock classic, released on Island in 69 (ILPS9111).
Pink label - Matrix A2 / B4
The front of the gatefold sleeve has some edge wear and age marking but is in EX condition. The inner section has some age marking along the top but is in excellent condition for its age. The back of the sleeve has clearer ring and edge wear - so classes VG+. (see all pics)
The plastic lining of the original, plain white inner sleeve has part detached itself but still functions as effective protection for the record.
The record itself has quite a few surface scratches. On Side One there are a small number of pops and crackles during quieter moments. The extremely quiet first half of side two is affected by a fair few pops and crackles. But no jumps at all. A Side VG+ B Side VG .
All records that I sell are packed using cardboard and bubble wrap.
