IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been a buyer of vinyl records on Ebay and elsewhere online for quite some time so I know well all pain and frustration the buyers get due to incorrect or misleading descriptions of records provided by some sellers (even 100 % positive - my experience) that unfortunately becomes an increasing problem on Ebay. So my description is made from a buyer`s and not from a seller`s standpoint. My goal is to sell and make purchase pleasant to a buyer otherwise why buy music.

Catalogue # ILPS 9111. The matrices A3/B3 

This is an original 1969 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on the PINK ISLAND RECORD LABEL, with 1st ISSUE E. J. DAY unlaminated gatefold sleeve. Complete with the polylined inner sleeve.

The sleeve is in EX- condition with some storage wear to the edges and the corners having no creases. Please see pictures. I have tried to visualize as many flaws as the cover has. The spine is showing wear and scuffing but almost entirely readable. The front cover has nothing but tiny sticker residue in the upper left corner and a bit of wear along the edges. The back cover also has general wear only - nothing to be specifically mentioned. There is wear on all corners and edges but nothing bad. The inside of gatefold looks almost perfect with great blue background color. There are no splits, writing or any other serious defects.

Overall this is a well preserved example of this outstanding sleeve. 

The vinyl has its glossy sheen and looks great between EX+ to NM with only light surface hairlines visible under strong light. I have played it in full prior to listing and overall playback is with no faults but some light background noise in the quieter places. Side 1 plays between EX+ to NM in places. Side 2 plays EX. Special attention as ususal requires Moonchild track being kind of a test track for this record. Unfortunately at its beginning there are about 10 revolution ticks caused by a tiny scratch that at a glance looks like being a purely surface but it does produces ticks... Hence Moonchild play-grades VG++. Nothing esle taking special attention. I am pretty sure a thorough clean would improve the sound. Overall playgrade is strong EX. 

The Pink Island labels with white “I” logos are unmarked with only some hardly visible under strong halogen light spindle traces each side. 

Outstanding copy of the outstanding album !!! Great investment opportunity !!!

LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. Records are removed from the sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
