Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition. I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

KING CRIMSON :- IN THE COURT OF THE POSEIDON ... VERY RARE EARLY VARIANT, UK PHILIPS PRESS ON ISLAND RECORDS.
KING CRIMSON'S "ALL TIME CLASSIC" JAZZ ROCK ALBUM.
COVER (NON LAMINATED):- EXCELLENT....
VINYL :- NEAR MINT....
INNER SLEEVE :- ORIGINAL.
LABELS :- Pink Rim Island, No Writing, Or Damage, Light Spindle.
This has the textured Island Pink Rim labels indicating that it was pressed at a Philips plant. By 1970 Island had switched most of their pressing to EMI who used a smooth label. Normally the issues that are found are smooth label with A2 / B4 matrices – i.e. EMI pressed from late 1969 to 1970. This, in fact, covers the vast majority of the pink Island label issues of this album. This copy is one of the extremely rare pressing albums. There are known differences between the mixes but unfortunately exact details are not known – If Mr Fripp can enlighten us, it would be very handy !! Other than that any differences are unknown without an extensive ‘back to back’ with a later press. It would seem that (excepting the A1/B1 anomaly) all the pink label A sides have the A2 matrix, but the B sides had B4 (Smooth Label), B3 (Very Rare Indeed) or B2 (Rough Label). The B4 being the ‘common’ one, the B2 Extremely rare & the B3 yet to be confirmed, only rumoured!!!! Rare enough as a rough label variant, to find this in great condition is very rare, it has the original E.J. DAY. London. sleeve, normally confined to the (Solid Pink Label Only Variant).

SLEEVE :
Excellent :- A modest grading of The E.J.Day non laminated gate-fold sleeve, an original matt sleeve, which has just a little shelf wear. please look at the photo's.
LABELS:
The Pink Rim Label. Clean, No Writing, no damage and light spindle.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
PAYMENT:
Items must be payed for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an Ebay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.
RETURNS POLICY:
I aim to provide an excellent service and hope that all buyers are satisfied with their purchase. However, if for any reason this should not be so, please contact me. I do accept returns, and on receipt of the item I will give a full refund - however - I will not refund what it costs the buyer to send it back, as otherwise I am just paying for the customer to look at it. I will not issue a refund if detail that is clearly stated on the advertisement has been missed by the buyer, so please read carefully.
PACKAGING:
I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
