GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
The sleeve (Featuring the entirely awesome The 12 Archetypes by Tammo De Jongh) is in great condition with the seams and the edges being robust and strong. As usual there is some wear to the edges of the 1st pressing rough textured sleeve although this is minimal (mainly at the bottom left hand corner). The spine text is perfectly legible. The surfaces are nice and clean and clear from any noticeable wear. A really great copy of this notoriously fragile sleeve.
RECORD: EX
The record is in beautiful condition. There are a couple of super light sleeve removal marks and a hairline to each side. These are, of course, not feelable. The record sounds absolutely superb. There is some light crackle during a couple of passages but this is minimal and very occasional. A truly superb sounding copy of a real masterpiece of an album.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
