Description
King Crimson-In The Wake Of Poseidon UK LP Pink Island label ILPS 9127.This is an original pressing from 1970 with A1/B1 matrix and special textured cover.
Condition is around the very good band.The textured gatefold cover has a small hole throgh the top right hand corner-like they sometimes used for cut-out vinyl from the USA-no idea why it is on this one.The spine has lost some colour simply through age and use.Other than a couple of minor spots on the inner gatefold the cover is fine and grades at VG+ to EX-.The vinyl has some underlying marks in artificial light but looks perfect in normal light and plays perfectly.Grades at EX-.So overall around the EX-range.
Not as well known as their mega great 1st LP starring Greg Lake on vocals-he was still half around but on his way to ELP-but still a very interesting album with some stand out tracks.
Original first issue of their 2nd LP from 1970 in very good condition and not far off their first iconic release-can't be bad.
